400 Hubs on HubPages, really?
This is officially my 400th hub on Hubpages! Wow, I never would have guessed that I would write 400 hubs! Its been an interesting journey to say the least, and its all happened in 3+ years. While not all peachy, I am overall grateful for ever being invited to learn more about HubPages as a possibility of a site to join and be a part of.
I recall people saying the capsules would be quirky, that it took some getting used to. I liked how classy the site looked, and still does. I like the massive amounts of different topics covered. Let me share how I have grown a lot and benefited from the site.
I like how there are two ways to earn on the site, and how I have been personally stretched to write on some topics I may not have written on with the HubMob and the Contests. Its been fun to compete, for instance in the last several contests. Its fun to be encouraged to write and post on topics I may not have normally, and I learn a lot in the process. Gotta love that!
There are so many cool people on the site, and while I am not always here as much as I would like to be, I sure hope many of them are still here. As far as number of hubs, I know many have much more than me. I am just thinking back to my beginning here, and never would I have guessed I would have been here long enough or active enough to do 400 hubs.
I have come across some amazing writers, and photographers, poets, reviewers and cooks, and more during my time here. The topics I have been writing about often give me a sense of nostalgia and looking back to think of both good and hard times in life.
I love the sense of how writing our experiences and what we learn, long outlasts each of us personally in life. My kids and some of my family know about my hubs, though I tend to keep them low key. Who knows, maybe one day that will change.
What have been the topics of my hubs? Wow, well almost everything that I can think of almost. Everything from recipes to hobbies, to beliefs, to worldviews, to news stories and movie reviews. This is just touching on some of the topics!
I think anyone that might be considering HubPages as a site worth looking into, ought to try it out. You will be amazed at how quickly you get used to things around here. There are so many different kinds of people represented as well, that its just interesting to me.
One thing I hope for in the future, are changes to make HubPages even better, and having more time to read and "hop" around other's hubs. Thank you to the friends I have made, and to everyone else that ever commented on even one hub, or read one. I am so grateful to you all. Thank you Hubpages for the opportunity. I really appreciate it.

Congratulations! It's hard to imagine 400 hubs. I'm at 70 and I would have ever guessed that I could have written that many, and still have things to write about. I have not written prior to this and I am having a wonderful time. It will be interesting to see where all of this takes me. Once again congratulations. I hope to be where you are some day. Who knows where you will be then for me to once again shoot for!

WOW! This is truly amazing-400 hubs. I thought getting to 50 would kill me and here you have gotten all the way to 400. This is very impressive. That is like publishing two novels. Way to go!

Congratulations! 400 hubs in 3 years. It's just unbelievable! I joined 3 weeks ago and have written only 4 hubs. 400 hubs seems like climbing Mount Everest to me. But I guess I'm the tortoise type, who knows I may get there too one day. :)

Jerry, that is my experience too with views, and I think they just build up over time. It depends on how much you promote it perhaps. I always think that if I don't write any hubs, I for sure won't get any views. I truly hope to get more, and get back on a better search with google. Thanks for your comment.
