Store Bought Back and Neck Massagers - How Good are They?

So many people suffer from back, neck and shoulder pain. A lot of them turn to pain relievers of all kinds, which helps them to get through the day sometimes. Its a luxury to consider getting professional massages to relieve the tension in the muscles and surrounding tissue.  Those kinds of professional massages can be just wonderful, but after a while it becomes harder to afford it even if you need it for your back pain. 

My husband struggles with back and neck pain and it is almost everyday. It runs in the family evidently, and they just learn to live with it. I feel so badly because I am limited to help, and my hands begin to hurt if I try to help for more than a couple minutes.

For Christmas, he asked for a new Shiatsu back massager, from Homedics. He had heard great things about it and I was curious. I found on one sale at Kohl's, and bought it. Since then things have been much better, and that is what I want to share with you here. I share more about it below, and in the examples at the bottom of the page, it is the second in that list, currently. It looks so simple..but it does a lot.

I don't push products on here usually, but this brand is the only one I know, and if you know of others, do share them below so people can look into it. Homedics has created these little "balls" for lack of a better description, along with a heat option if you want that, that move around and massage your back. It is in the form of like a soft pillow, super soft to the touch in fact, and there is a real movement going on to actually work your stiff or sore muscles.

You can lean up against it in a chair or up against some pillows. I don't know if you would want to lay on the ground with it, without some extra cushion, because you will feel this working. its like the lower part of the palm of someone's hand, giving a massage to whatever area you need it on.

For instance, last night my husband was in severe pain (I didn't even know it until he told me today) and he watched TV before bed with the massager. It truly helped him get relief, and he slept very well. I am so glad that this can help people that truly struggle with back issues. My husband is one of those people. This is by far the best store bought massager that we have ever experienced.

For my right shoulder and back area, I have used this massager, and it really helped me as well after just a few minutes.  In a short amount of time, its like you had a professional massager working on a really tight muscle.  I am very thankful and wanted to share because it may really help some other people out there.
